August 10, 2022 @ 18:30 - 20:00

Robots are coming. Robots are actually employed in restaurants since the pandemic partly due to the shortage of human servers. IEEE Southeast Michigan Robotics and Automation Chapter is having a technical meeting at a restaurant in The Mall at Partridge Creek, Clinton Township to see how robots are mapped to the restaurants environment and used to deliver food to tables. Attendees will have a chance to operate a robot called "Servi" equipped with 3 cameras and a LIDAR developed by (https://www.bearrobotics.ai/).
