Room: 133, South Foundation Hall, 308 Meadow Brook Rd, Rochester, Michigan, United States, 48309

Join the Southeast Michigan Young Professionals Affinity Group for an in-person speaker event on the topic of the Current State of the Art in Computer Aided Engineering for Simulation, presented by section chair Sharan Kalwani! Topic Abstract: Computer Aided Engineering has made strides in the last several decades. In this talk, we will trace its development, describe several terminology and applications. Key to this progress are the improvements made in high-performance computing. We will finally lead into the current state of the art in this field—computational mechanics, electrical and electronic design automation, fluid dynamics, and speculate on what role AI and quantum computing will play in the future, etc. The event will be hosted at Oakland University, and a pizza dinner will be provided. We hope you can join us! Speaker(s): Sharan Kalwani Agenda: 5:00 PM - Welcome and Introductions; Pizza and drinks 5:05 PM - Presentation Start 6:00 PM - End; Start of Q & A; 6:30 PM - Wrap Up Room: 133, South Foundation Hall, 308 Meadow Brook Rd, Rochester, Michigan, United States, 48309
