IEEE Region 4 is growing, receiving requests from our Sections for support and  engagement, and building new industry/organizational relationships. We need volunteers to help us support our members. If you are interested in giving some time to the profession, please let us know!  Positions include multiple officer positions Committee Chair, Committee Support Chair, Assistant Webmaster, Assistant Social Media, Treasurer, Secretary,  meeting planners, committee members, and more.

Current Region volunteers utilize IEEE resources and training to provide professional opportunities and benefits for both IEEE members, guests, and stakeholders.  Volunteers access regional resources to help advance members’ careers and to mentor students and young professionals.

Region volunteers receive free training, and have the ability to grow their leadership and organizational skills. The experience gained will benefit self-advancement and contribute to your resumé with enviable recognition of the world’s largest and most well-known technical professional society.

As our Sections continue to grow and work towards providing greater value to their members, the need for a more complete leadership team continues to grow.  There are many other opportunities available in the form of committees that help support and recognize our members and their achievements.  You can volunteer as much or as little as you want.  Great stuff to put on your resume!
