The presentation this year will be made by Robin Priestly, CPQ, CEM Vere Loqui, LLC Power Quality and Energy Consultants Robin's Priestley expertise is in Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)s of all sizes. Variable Frequency Drives are used to control motor speed in all types of industries. There are harmonics when a VFD is used and there several methods to deal with them. VFD are used for reducing energy used in the motors and applications. Saving energy is a concern for every industry. Robin could go into detail on applications and lessons learned.
