Join us for a special guest lecture featuring Yousuf Rumi, Sr. Electrical Design Engineer at Emerson. will share insights on Emerson Electric, industry automation, data analytics, career development, interview strategies, and opportunities at Emerson. Our guest, Yousuf Rumi, being a Senior Electrical Design Engineer at Emerson Electric, graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato (Class of 2018) and later earned his Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota (Class of 2023). During his time at Minnesota State University, Yousuf was part of the first generation of students to work on the robotic automated arm project, anticipating the growth of robotics and automation in engineering design. He collaborated under Emeritus Professor Mohammed Khaliq, Professor Han-Way Huang, and several others — laying the groundwork for today’s advanced automation projects within ECET. Senior Member Reviewers will assist interested member candidates with at least 10 years of experience in their profession.
