The IEEE Central Illinois Section (CILS) will host a technical talk at Bradley University on the topic of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). This presentation will review the requirements for compliance under the European Union (EU) Radio Equipment Directive, a CE Marking Directive, and recent updates that include new requirements for cybersecurity under the new Cyber Resilience Act, which includes all wireless related products placed on the market, with a direct focus on manufacturers of host devices that have wireless capabilities as well as associated digital elements.
