IEEE 140th Anniversary Celebration

The IEEE first formally came into existence in 1884. It has now been a nice long 140 years, hence this celebration. Details about its history can be perused at the IEEE History website and has also been recently updated/published .
The plan is to invite IEEE members and their families, friends and guests, to come and enjoy a afternoon of museum visit, followed by an evening reception appetizer buffet/hors d'oeuvres, then a brief awards ceremony, and distinguished IEEE speaker talks on the Future Challenges plus a sumptuous dinner. Also a special event memento will be given to all attendees commemorating the occasion.
