[][]
This workshop is a hands-on working event. Each attendee will get a NanoVNA (Vector Network) analyzer.
You are encouraged to bring a device (DUT) that you woud like to make measurements on. We will learn how to make the following measurements:
List of measurements to perform (thus far – always open to new ideas):
Antenna impedance (S11)
Filter frequency response (S21)
Coaxial cable loss (S21)
RF amplifier gain (S21 – this one is tricky – will require in-line attenuators)
Coaxial cable length (TDR)
VNA Calibration
We will have a limited number of DUTs, so we may break the attendees up into small groups and have each group work on measuring a different DUT. The workshop will be limited lecture and mostly the attendees getting hands-on experience.
You may want to bring your laptop computer if you would like to try out your NanoVNA with advanced software.
