Factory Tour: Sensit Technologies

Sensit was the brainchild of John & Nancy Kleppe. Running their own business was their dream, and in March 1980, this vision became reality. For the first few years, the company's only product was the GAS•TRAC®. This revolutionary product was the result of a joint development project between a major gas utility and the Illinois Institute of Technology. The Company has now expanded to over 100 employees and its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, combined with its knowledgeable and dedicated staff provides workers all over the world with the best products and technology to protect them from hazardous gases. Their product range includes combustible gas indicators, confined space monitors, vehicle-mounted methane detectors, air quality monitors, and underground pipe locators, providing reliable and high-quality instruments that customers can depend on.
