5th Annual IEEE Midwest PCB Fest 2025!! Part 1 "SIPI Open Source Boards for learning best design and measurement practices with Prof Eric Bogatin"

Abstract: The CU Boulder High-Speed Digital Engineering team has recently introduced a series of open-source boards anyone can purchase, which demonstrate some of the best and pathological practices for designing and measuring PCBs. In this presentation, I will showcase a few of the boards, the principles they illustrate, and measurements that can be done with them. These are suitable not just for classroom learning but also for professional engineers who want that hands-on experience from a simple board to really understand the important principles behind the best SIPI design principles.
