- Form new Section Life Member Affinity Groups (LMAGs).
- Develop programs of interest for life members.
Life Members Affinity Groups Values:
- Retain active IEEE associations
- Contribute to the social good in their communities
- Advance the professional interests of IEEE
- Allow members to enjoy each other’s company
Regional Coordinators work with the officers of the local LMAGs:
- Provide training and manage the expense reporting system
- Coordinate regional activities and area committees
- Encourage local activities
- Work with region student activities coordinators to support regional student contests and
conferences - Maintain regional Life Members websites and newsletters
- Coordinate regional awards programs (LMAG achievement, distinguished service)
- Liaison to IEEE regional executive committees on behalf of Life Members
- Work with sections to create new LMAGs
