Tour of MSU's Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB)

The (https://frib.msu.edu/) at Michigan State University cares very much about sharing MSU's nuclear research with the public. The IEEE Section along with IEEE students will participate in an on-site in-person tour of the facility, graciously conducted by Zach Constan, Outreach Manager. Prior registration is required. More details will be forthcoming.

Agenda:
09:30 AM – IEEE members and MSU engineering students gather to attend an FRIB tour.
09:35 AM – Welcome by the IEEE Section Chair describing the IEEE and benefits of becoming an IEEE student member.
10:15 AM – FRIB Outreach Coordinatore takes the audience to the tour (this part is also awesome!)
11: 30 AM – End of tour – Students can apply for membership and both students and IEEE members have a social mixture.
11:45 AM – Boxed lunch and possible visit to the Dairy Store for Ice Cream (TENTATIVE – subject to FRIB approval)
