Probing Power Electronics Circuits

March 21, 2019 @ 21:30 - 23:30

Southeastern Michigan IEEE EMC Chapter technical meeting.

Food Sponsor: Teledyne LeCroy  www.Teledyne.com

Speaker(s): Mike Hertz,

Agenda:

Connectivity, system bandwidth, rise time, and probe location must be carefully considered when
probing any target. Choosing the right voltage probe is important for safety of the operator, equipment,
and DUT, and to avoid producing an result. In this seminar, we will discuss which probe to use for
various applications, with an emphasis on probing power electronics circuits.
Join Teledyne LeCroy for this seminar as we discuss:
 Selecting the right probing techniques to maximize the accuracy of your measurements
 Probe specifications and their implications on the measured signal
 Variety of probes and accessories for various measurement applications
 Virtual probing software tools that allow the user to probe the signal when direct access is
physically impossible

Who Should Attend: Design engineers and technicians who use oscilloscopes with probes, especially for
testing power conversion and power electronics circuits.

Location:
Bldg: Teledyne LeCroy Automotive
