Embedded Systems Workshop 2022 – Day 1 and Day 2 (online)

October 22, 2022 @ 08:30 - 12:30

The 20th Annual Workshop on Embedded Systems will be held again this year. Like last year we will have all sessions virtual/online. Registration is required and is good for both days. It is open to engineers, researchers, professionals, academics and students. You are encouraged to join the IEEE, although membership is not required, however IEEE membership is encouraged to realize the maximum potential. NOTE: this is being held over two HALF day sessions – both on Saturdays! (October 22nd and 29th). There is a one-time non-refundable fee to attend and help cover costs: $5 for all. You are encouraged to become an IEEE member and help support many such future positive events/activities.
Email us for any follow up: esw2022@ieee-sem.org
In past years, some of the Embedded System Workshop Sponsors were: (https://www.beningo.com/), Infineon, NVIDIA, ARM, iSYSTEM, Intrepid CS, Altair, DataSwing LLC, DigiKey, IEEE SEM Computer Society Chapter, IEEE SEM Education Society Chapter, Teknowledge LLC and (http://www.oakland.edu/secs/).
The aim is to disseminate knowledge, directly benefiting the IEEE members, at the same time improve the technology skills pool, indirectly boosting the Michigan economy. Speakers and experts from the embedded systems industry will be making presentations, and will also be available for discussions and networking throughout the day. In addition to the technical presentations, use this opportunity for networking with other engineers, industry experts and embedded enthusiasts. The theme for this year is: "Role of Asissted/Augmented Intelligence (AI) in Automotive Embedded Systems".
Embedded Systems are playing an important role in the all automotive segments. More recenly in Autonomous Vehicles (AV) and Electric Vehicles (EV) which include cars, transit buses, trucks of all sizes, and even big-rig tractor trailers, drones, etc.
See the Agenda for the Schedule of Events (updated frequently). NOTE: {The registration will send you a calendar invite for October 22nd, it will be followed by a separate calendar invite for October 29th as well, since the ZOOM link may be different. Also remember to register with your full US Postal address, so we can send you any door prizes! Sorry no overseas delivery is possible at this time, due to US customs overhead.}
