20th World Robofest Championship

Interested in visiting the 20th World Robofest Championship? Friends and family are welcome to attend to watch some amazing robots in action!
As an IEEE member you are welcome to be more involved by volunteering as an Exhibition Judge at the 20th Annual World Robofest Championship. IEEE Region 4 and SEM has been supporting Robofest by providing participation medals since 2004. Judge training starts at 8:30am. After the competition, we plan to write an article about IEEE’s involvement & contribution to this autonomous robotics event to promote STEM education. Please meet under IEEE banner in the gym during lunch time to take a group photo and be included in the article.

General information: Robofest is a festival of competitions and features a wide variety of events with autonomous robots that encourages students to have fun while learning principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and Computer Science. Students design, construct, and program the robots. Since 2000, over 25,000 students have competed in Robofest, including teams from 15 United States and the countries of Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Egypt, England, Ecuador, France, Ghana, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Korea, Lebanon, Macau, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Romania, Singapore and South Africa.
