Reactivate is a mission-driven renewable energy company that develops, owns, and operates renewable energy solutions across the country. Focus areas include community solar, small utility scale solar, energy storage, and EV charging. Moody Demetry & Brianna Acheampong, Reactivate
Moody is an accomplished engineering leader with 20 years of experience overseeing all phases of engineering project, currently serving as Vice President, EPC, at Reactivate. Moody has expertise in utilities, high and medium voltage power systems, focusing on transmission and distribution system reliability, system protection, smart grid, distributed generation, and solar renewable energy. He has deep experience for implementing innovative policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulations and is a steadfast advocate for continuous improvement with a proven ability to develop, implement, and successfully steer initiatives to enhance productivity, drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate overall performance. Prior to joining Reactivate, Moody was the Vice President of Engineering at DSD Renewables where he led the management and resource planning for the Development and Project Engineering, Commissioning, Energy Storage, Civil and Structural teams housed within the engineering division.
Moody also has served as the Founder and CEO of the Heya Masr Foundation, a non-profit community development organization, since 2013. The foundation is dedicated to nurturing young Egyptian children’s mental, emotional, and physical resilience, empowering them to become more confident individuals and responsible citizens.
Moody holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering from New York Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Certificate in Executive Leadership Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.Jane received her Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Patrick Henry University.
Brianna serves as the Manager of Distribution Interconnection Engineering at Reactivate. She is an experienced professional engineer with over a decade of expertise in electrical distribution systems and renewable integration. Her background spans from distribution planning, distribution design, DER studies, and interconnection strategy, giving her a comprehensive view of both electric system constraints and development pathways. Brianna specializes in translating complex technical challenges into clear actionable strategies, collaborating closely with legal, engineering, and development teams to advance high-impact projects. She combines deep engineering insight with a macro level perspective on grid evolution, bringing clarity and strategic direction to the future of interconnection.
Brianna holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a concentration in Power Systems from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
